It's easy to become a Great Lakes Scrip Center customer. There is no obligation to buy, there are no minimum orders, and there is no cost to enroll. The only requirement is that your organization be non-profit.
To get started, please complete our
simple enrollment form. Complete the enrollment form and mail or fax it to GLSC with your proof of non-profit status and we will notify you within 48 hours to confirm your enrollment.
Most GLSC customers order online at www.glscrip.com. You can also place your order by calling us toll-free at 800-727-4715.
Place your order before 1:00pm Eastern time for fastest service. Orders placed before 1:00pm Eastern time will leave our offices no later than the following business day. Orders placed after 1:00pm Eastern time will leave our offices no later than the second business day. *See GLSC’s Turnaround Schedule for details
To order online, you will need your GLSC account ID number and your password. Once you log on, you will have access to our secure online ordering page, where you can place your organization's scrip order.
When placing your order, remember:
- Before ordering, check our "what's new" page for the latest news on discount and denomination changes.
- Review the order carefully. Once we begin fulfilling your order, it cannot be modified or changed.
- Your order will receive a time stamp when it is submitted. The time stamp determines when your order will ship. Orders stamped before 1:00 PM Eastern time will leave our offices the following business day; orders stamped after 1:00 PM Eastern time will leave our offices the second business day. Order early in the day for faster turnaround.
- Once submitted, your organization's scrip coordinator will receive email order confirmation within 60 minutes.

Payment must be received for all orders before they are released for shipment. Most GLSC customers choose electronic fund transfer to speed payment and delivery of orders. This service is provided by the Automated Clearing House (ACH), a nationwide network of banks, financial institutions, businesses and millions of customers. When you authorize ACH payment, Great Lakes Scrip Center debits your organization’s bank account for the exact amount of your order on the day your order is placed.
You can also choose to pay for your order with a check; however GLSC
cannot begin processing your order until your check is received at our offices. Often this adds several days
to your order turnaround. In addition, GLSC cannot accept personal checks for payment. Check payments must be drawn on the account of a non-profit organization.
All orders are shipped to your organization’s normal shipping address via FedEx. Your order is insured by Great Lakes Scrip Center while in transit; a signature is required upon delivery for all orders. You may choose Early AM delivery, Afternoon delivery, or Ground service. Ground service is the most cost-effective delivery method, however actual delivery times are dependent on your proximity to our West Michigan offices.

If you do not specify a shipping choice, GLSC will ship your order with an air afternoon delivery service provided by FedEx.
Please remember orders cannot be picked up at our office.
Occasionally, Great Lakes Scrip Center may temporarily run out of a particular certificate. When that happens, we will place the item on backorder and ship it with your next order. If you do not place your next order within 10 business days, GLSC will ship your backorder at that time. Unusually large or urgent backorders may be shipped earlier at our discretion.
What happens if you order scrip by mistake? Generally speaking, it's best to try to find a buyer in your non-profit organization.
Sometimes, however, it's necessary to return scrip. For this reason we have developed a limited return policy.
- All scrip returned must receive prior approval from an authorized Scrip associate.
- All requests must come from the non-profit organizations' coordinator of record.
- Returned scrip must be accompanied by GLSC's Returned Product Request form.
- Returns must be made within 30 days of order date and accompanied by a copy of the original sales packing slip.
- Returned Scrip must be in its original state and saleable. If it is written on, stapled, expired, or has been altered in any way, this will render them non-returnable.
- In the event of a store closure GLSC will refund the complete purchase price of any certificate shipped in the last 45 days, provided GLSC is able to obtain similar reimbursement from the vendor.
- Refunds will be credited to your account upon receipt of returned certificates.
- There will be a fee of 10% of the face value, with a minimum charge of $5.00, charged on all returns and exchanges All returned scrip must be sent at the returnee's expense.
- Scrip returned because of an error by Great Lakes Scrip Center will be fully refunded and all postage and handling costs will be reimbursed by GLSC.
