Become A Customer


Once you send in our simple enrollment form and become a Great Lakes Scrip Center® customer, it’s time to get those orders in and start earning! Read on to learn all about our ordering and payment process, as well as our return policy.

Ordering Scrip

For quick and easy ordering, most coordinators use to aggregate family orders and then submit their organization’s order on You can also place an order for your organization on To place an order by phone call 800.727.4715 option 2.

When you place your order before 3:00 p.m. EST, it is guaranteed to leave our offices no later than the following business day. Orders placed after 3:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) will leave our offices no later than the second following business day. For example, if you placed your order before 3:00 p.m. on Monday, it would ship no later than Tuesday afternoon. See GLSC's Turnaround Schedule for shipping options and details. During the Christmas holiday season, this turnaround schedule is subject to change.

When placing your order, remember to:

  • Review your order carefully to avoid errors.
  • Order before 3:00 p.m. for faster turnaround.
  • Watch for a confirmation email within the hour.
Paying For Your Order

Since payment must be received for all orders before they can be released for shipment, most organizations use ACH payment, or electronic funds transfer, to speed delivery of their orders. When you authorize ACH payment, you allow Great Lakes Scrip Center to debit your organization’s bank account for the exact amount of your order on the day it is placed.

You can also choose to pay by check, although this often adds several days to your order turnaround. We cannot accept payment from personal accounts. Payments must be drawn from the organization’s bank account.

Shipping your Order

All orders will be shipped to your organization’s address (or any other address you specify) via FedEx. Your order will be insured by Great Lakes Scrip Center while in transit, and a signature will be required upon delivery. You can choose from several delivery options. If you do not specify a shipping choice, Great Lakes Scrip Center will ship your order by the Standard Express delivery service provided by Fed Ex. Orders cannot be picked up at our offices.


On the very rare occasion that we temporarily run out of a particular product, we will place the item on backorder and ship it with your next order. If you do not place your next order within 10 business days, we will ship the backorder at that time. Unusually large or urgent backorders may be shipped earlier at our discretion.

Returning Scrip

If you happen to order scrip by mistake, it’s best to try to find a buyer within your non-profit organization. However, sometimes it is necessary to return scrip. For this reason, we have developed a limited return policy:

  • Return requests must come from an organization coordinator.
  • Returns must receive approval from a member of Great Lakes Scrip Center’s Customer Support Team.
  • Once our Customer Support Team approves the return, you’ll be mailed a Return Product Request Form to fill out and send back with the returned scrip and original sales packing slip.
  • Returns must be made within 30 days of the order date.
  • Returned scrip must be in its original state (written on, stapled, expired or altered scrip is non-returnable).
  • Refunds will be credited to the organization’s account upon receipt of returned scrip.

There will be a fee of 10% of the face value, with a minimum of $5.00, charged on all returns and exchanges. Returns must be shipped at the returnee’s expense. However, scrip returned because of an error by Great Lakes Scrip Center will be fully refunded and all postage and handling costs will be reimbursed. In the event of a store closure, GLSC will refund the complete purchase price of any certificate shipped in the last 45 days, provided GLSC is able to obtain similar reimbursement from the vendor.
