On October 28, we announced that BP Cash cards are available for order in certain areas of the country in $50 denominations at a 2% benefit. We have recently learned that BP Cash cards are not available for sale in the state of Washington. Arco is the newest retailer to join the GLSC retailer list. Arco PumpPASS prepaid cards are now available in a $50 denomination at a 1.5% contribution. When you're in a hurry the ARCO PumpPASS prepaid gas card is an easy and great service to use. All you have to do is select a pump on the PayQuick island terminal, insert your prepaid ARCO PumpPASS card, then begin fueling.

GLSC is pleased to announce that Smart & Final $100s are back in stock. That means Smart & Final is now available in in $100, $50 and $25 denominations. The benefit is unchanged at 3%.
Please advise your member families that Friendly's $10s will be discontinued due to problems replenishing inventories. A limited number of Friendly's $10s are available on a first come, first served basis; when these certificates are gone Friendly's will no longer be available.
Please advise your member families that P&C Foods $10s are no longer available. GLSC will continue to stock P∓C Foods $25s and the benefit remains unchanged at 4%.
Up until this week, we've been able to maintain our previous order turnaround
time schedule of "in by 1:00 pm out the door by 5:00 pm the following day".
However, due to surging order volume, all
GLSC customers should expect
your order to arrive at least one day later than usual.
If you’re like most GLSC customers, your scrip program volume doubles, triples
or even quadruples during the holiday season. That means our holiday volume
surges as well, and we are challenged to assemble many more orders with timely
delivery and minimal backorders.
To answer the challenge,
we've added extra staff, we've upgraded our systems, we've increased our
inventory, and we are working several shifts to process your orders. Even with
all of these preparations, we need to add an additional day to turnaround
schedule for the duration of the holiday season.

Whenever possible, we will
ship your order faster than the above posted schedule. However, to minimize
confusion and aggravation, we advise our customers to plan on us needing an
additional day for your delivery. There are several things you can do to
minimize the time needed to fulfill your order and minimize disruptions:

order early in the day.
GLSC staffers work on customer orders in the sequence they are placed. The first
orders in are the first orders out.
- Use the
internet to order
– When placing an order, there are no busy signals, and you can order from the
comfort of your home.
- Give
yourself a little breathing room
- If your scrip ordering and distribution schedule is tight, you can avoid
disappointing your organization families by modifying your organization's
turnaround schedule.
- Check the
status of your order online
– Just logon to our website,
and you can see the status of any order you’ve placed. You’ll see if the order
is still in process, if it’s shipped, if anything is on backorder, and most
important, you can get the tracking number. That way you can contact FedEx or
UPS and instantly see where your package is in the delivery system.
Backorders and
“Temporary out of stock”
We’re proud of our record on shipping complete orders. In fact, since January 1,
less than one percent of the line items we’ve shipped have been
backordered. We will continue to strive for shipping you complete orders.
However, as we get closer to Christmas, we’re going to have more difficulty
replenishing inventories in time for Christmas gift-giving.
If we run out of an item
and are unable to ship it before Christmas, we will stop taking orders for that
product to avoid backorders. When and if that happens, we will issue email
“temporarily out of stock” advisories and post that information here on our
“what’s new” page. Sometimes this information will be updated several times a
day, so be sure to check before placing your order. That way, you’ll have the
opportunity to purchase alternate products to satisfy your families.
A Final Note About The
Weather
The Midwest is a
beautiful place to live and work. One problem with the Midwest is winter
weather. Now and then, airports are closed due to inclement weather. If your
package is delayed by bad weather, contact FedEx or UPS for specific information
about your package delivery.

Just a reminder to plan your Thanksgiving week orders carefully. We are well-stocked for your holiday shopping and expect few if any backorders. However, our delivery partners FedEx and UPS do not deliver on Thanksgiving day, and they have no ground service delivery on Friday November 25, so please adhere to the following schedule to get ensure delivery during Thanksgiving week:
- If you submit your order no later than 1:00 pm EST Monday November 21, your order will leave our offices by Tuesday, November 22 for air service scheduled delivery on Wednesday, November 23 by end of day. Choose ground delivery service, and normal ground delivery schedules will be disrupted because no ground deliveries will be made on Friday, November 25.
- If you submit your order no later than 1:00 pm EST Tuesday, November 22, your order will leave our offices no later than Wednesday, November 23. Air service deliveries made on that day will be schedule for delivery Friday, November 25. No ground service deliveries will be made on Friday, November 25, so ground deliveries will be delayed until the following week.
- If you submit your order after 1:00 pm EST Tuesday, November 22, your order will leave our offices no later than Monday, November 28.
Please remember we will be unable to schedule pre-Thanksgiving delivery for any order placed after 1:00pm EST Monday, November 21.
December Order Turnaround
As we approach the last few weeks before Christmas, you'll be glad to know we've added extra staff, we've upgraded our systems, we've increased our inventory, and we are working several shifts to process your orders. However, for the period of November 28 to December 20, there's a high likelihood we will need an additional day to prepare and ship your order.
