This change was made at the request of Piggly Wiggly. Due to the economic conditions in the marketplace, they have regrettably decided to reduce the NPO contribution. The guidelines remain the same.
Please advise your member families that Chevron $250 gift cards are now available to all states. The gift card is redeemable only for fuel and authorized goods and services at participating Chevron stations and Texaco stations locations displaying the "TECHRON" logo. Please advise your member families that Shaw's has run out of their cards. GLSC has a limited number of Shaw's $25 and $50 gift cards available and they will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

On February 22, GLSC announced that Lillian Vernon was no longer available and that our current inventory was gone. We have recently learned that a limited number of Lillian Vernon $20 certificates are available and they will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note that there will be no refunds for any Lillian Vernon certificates purchased. In addition, if you are redeeming a $20 certificate then $40 worth of merchandise has to be purchased. Subsequently, if you are redeeming $40 worth of certificates then your merchandise needs to total a minimum of $80.

The card is redeemable for admission and concession purchases at participating Marcus theatre locations in Iowa, Wisconsin, Ohio, Minnesota, North Dakota and Illinois. They are also redeemable at Marcus Resorts (see Marcus Resorts for specific hotels), Brynwood Country Club in Milwaukee, WI and The Links at Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva, WI.

We have recently learned that Value City Department Store will close more than 30 of their 110 stores. As a result, Value City Gift Cards are no longer available from Great Lakes Scrip Center effective immediately.
We have also learned Value City will provide no refunds for Value City gift cards. Consequently, we urge our customers to immediately use any Value City gift cards while your local stores are still open.
Please advise your member families as soon as possible.
Earlier this year, we announced JCPenney- America's favorite department store-would sponsor the "Every Day Matters" Cash Giveaway for GLSC customers. We are pleased to report three lucky non-profit organizations have won cash prizes, just for purchasing JCPenney Gift Cards during the promotion time period:
* The $1,000 winner is Holy Cross School in South Bend, IN. "Way cool!" said Holy Cross coordinator Sharon Flores when she learned her school was the big winner. "Our school could really use this."
* St. Joseph's School in Grand Rapids, MN is the winner of the $750 cash giveaway.
* The winner of the $500 check is rewarded to Preble Pom & Dance Team- Preble HS in Green Bay, WI.
